Samsung launches Galaxy M31s with 64MP Intelli-Cam and 6000mAh Battery in India

Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy M31s in India. The M31s is pre-loaded with 64MP Intelli-Cam, Exynos 9611, and 6000mAh battery with reverse charging support. The new Galaxy device will compete under the mid-range category against Realme 6 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. 

Samsung has also introduced an entry-grade Galaxy M01 Core in India at the starting price of Rs 5,499.

Samsung Galaxy M31s Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy M31s is priced at Rs 19,499 for its 6GB variant while the 8GB variant is priced at Rs. 21,499. Samsung offers Mirage Black and Mirage Blue color options. The phone will go on sale through Samsung official shop and Amazon India from August 6, the first day of Amazon’s Prime Day.

Samsung Galaxy M31s Features

The Samsung Galaxy M31s has got a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O-display. The screen ratio is greater than 91% with a punch hole for selfie cam and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a 10nm octa-core Exynos 9611 processor coupled with Mali-G72 graphics, similar to its predecessor Galaxy M31 [Review]. The chipset is integrated with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage, expandable up to 512GB via microSD slot.

For photography, Galaxy M31s hosts a quadruple-camera system comprised of a 64MP main camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor. The assisting lens includes a 12MP ultrawide sensor for 123° Field-of-View, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. The front camera has a 32MP sensor. The Single Take for both front and rear cameras offers to capture up to 10 photos and video outputs with one take. 

Under the hood, Galaxy M31s boasts a massive 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charge support. Additionally, M31s supports reverse charging through Type-C to Type-C port. The security is covered with a side fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The device runs on OneUI based on Android 10. 

Samsung Galaxy M01 Core

The Samsung Galaxy M01 Core has a 5.3-inch HD+ Infinity display with a 720 x 1480 px resolution. The M01 Core ships with an 8MP rear and a 5MP front camera. The rear camera has a video recording resolution of 1920 x 1080@30fps. 

The budget-grade Galaxy M01 Core settles with a quad-core MediaTek Helio MT6739 processor paired with up to 2GB RAM and up to 32GB internal storage. The phone gets power supply from its 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual SIM, Micro USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The M01 Core comes in three color options- Blue, Black, and Red.
