Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Galaxy Z Flip 6 New Color Options Tipped

After Apple’s WWDC 2024, the next big event in the tech world will be the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event taking place on July 10 in Paris. The Unpacked Event Part 2 is expected to host the launch of various devices like the Samsung Galaxy Ring, Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Series, Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, Samsung Galaxy Tablets, Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Series, New Galaxy AI features, and next-generation Samsung foldables- Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

For the last few months, we have been hearing about the specs and design of next-generation Galaxy Foldables. Now, new color options for both foldables have surfaced online courtesy of a reliable tipster.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: Color Options

Leakster Evan Blass aka Evleaks claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will reportedly be available in three shades- Navy, Pink, and Silver Shadow.  In addition to these three shades, the foldable will also be available in Crafted Black and White shades. These additional shades will be available in select countries via Samsung’s online store.

Its predecessor Galaxy Z Fold 5 came in blue, cream, gray, icy blue, and phantom black shades.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Color Options

As for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the tipster says that it will come in Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow, and Yellow hues. Additionally, it will come in Black, Peach, and White colors. These additional hues will be available in select countries via Samsung’s online store.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes in blue, cream, graphite, gray, green, lavender, mint, and yellow shades.

What’s new about color options?

Pink color will be available for the first time in the Galaxy Z Fold series. The company usually launches more understated and mature colors for the Fold series while it does go blingy for the Flip one. But this time it seems Samsung is looking to shake things up a bit in terms of the overall looks of foldables as well.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Z Flip 6: Expected Features

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 as well as Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to get a better hinge and pack a 4000mAh battery under the hood. It is expected to get a 50MP main camera at the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have the same cameras as its predecessor and the same hinge with screen crease visibility improvements. It is expected to pack a 4600mAh battery.

Both the foldables are said to be IPX8-rated and feature stereo speakers, 25W charging, and wireless charging. They will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box and get seven major Android OS updates.
