Samsung has been working on next generation of foldables- Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 which are slated to launch after Galaxy S23 Series. Various reports have started surfacing online reveal various upgrades that the next generation Galaxy Z Fold 5 might get.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5: Rumours

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is tipped to come with a 108MP primary camera sensor. A Vietnamese publication, The Post claims that the foldable might ditch the 50MP lens for a 108MP camera. This will make the device heavier and it will weigh around 275 grams in comparison to Galaxy Z Fold 4 which weighs 263 grams.

Telephoto lens is also expected to get a boost as the reports claim that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a 108MP main, 64MP telephoto and a 12MP ultrawide lenses. However, since Galaxy Z Fold 4 cameras received an upgrade, Samsung might not bring an upgrade to the cameras this year.

Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to have a dedicated slot for the S-Pen and a new hinge design to decrease the screen crease and let the phone fold completely flat.

All these are rumours for now so we will have to wait for Samsung to make things official.
