Now, MediaPeanut has leaked the design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. The images show the handset sporting a large external display. The foldable will have a 3.4-inch display that is much larger than the 1.9-inch panel on last year’s model. The display is larger than Oppo’s Find N2 Flip which debuted earlier in 2023.

Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer claims that this large external display will allow users to interact with the device without opening the display, such as music playback controls, viewing messages, and more.

According to reports, Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have a dual camera setup at the back, similar to Galaxy S23 Series. The camera module is horizontally aligned and is surrounded by an external display that also partially occupies the area to the right. The foldable will have a folder-shaped design.

The recently revealed renders also showcase the inner display, but the size of the bezels can’t be determined. It is expected to sport a 6.7-inch primary display. The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be 165×71.8×6.7mm as compared to the 6.9mm thickness of the predecessor, so Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be thinner.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 was also claimed to have an external display with AOD just like iPhone 14 Pro Series.

Other details of the foldable are yet to be known. Till then stay tuned to this space.
