Samsung is about to launch the Fan Edition of the Galaxy Tab S9 series soon. Per leaks, the lineup will consist of Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus. While we know that the former will carry a slightly smaller screen than the latter, as happens every year, a new leak has suggested the European price of the upcoming tablet.
Galaxy Tab S9 FE Series European Pricing
According to a report by WinFuture, in collaboration with tipster Roland Quandt, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE’s European price starts at EUR 529, which is about Rs. 46,000. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus could start at EUR 699, which is about Rs. 61,300. While these are the pricing for the Wi-Fi variants of the tablet, the 5G variants could cost EUR 100 more than them.
Galaxy Tab S9 FE Leaked Specifications
The report also hints at some key specifications of the Android tablets. To begin with, it mentions that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will feature a 10.9-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,304 x 1,440 pixels. Under the hood, the device should run on an Exynos 1380 octa-core chipset, a significant downgrade from the Snapdragon 8 series processor on the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
The mid-tier processor runs alongside 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on the base variant. There seems to be another model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Users should also get a microSD card slot. This model has a single 8MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera, and both can shoot 4K videos at up to 30 frames per second. An 8,000 mAh battery is powering the tablet, which should provide up to 45 hours of standby time.
Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ Leaked Specifications
While both tablets share the same fundamentals, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ should come with a 12.4-inch LCD screen with a 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution. Of the two devices, only the larger variants support inputs via S-Pen. The Tab S9 FE+ is also said to come with 8GB of RAM on the base and 12GB of RAM on the upper model. This model also has a secondary rear camera for ultra-wide shots. Lastly, the larger chassis provides enough room for a 10,090 mAh battery.
Other common features across both tablets include Bluetooth v5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. More details about the tablets should surface online in the coming days.
