Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Series Goes Official With Dimensity 9300+ SoC, Up To 1TB Of Storage, And 45W Charging

On Thursday, Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, two flagship Android tablets that run on Dimensity 9300+ SoC. While the former has a slightly smaller screen and lesser RAM, the latter has a bigger display, larger battery, and more RAM on the top variant. Today, the brand has made the tablets official in India as well.

  • The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus comes in a single 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model which is priced at Rs. 90,999 for the WiFi version.
  • The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra also comes in a single 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model which is priced at Rs. 1,08,999 for the WiFi variant.

The storage can be expanded via microSD card up to 1.5TB. Samsung is offering up to Rs. 15,000 bank cashback and a Rs. 12,000 upgrade bonus on both tablets.

Both the Tab S10 Plus and the Tab S10 Ultra ship with several AI-based features such as Note Assist, PDF Overlay Translation, and Handwriting Help. Then, there are features like Sketch to Image, Circle to Search, and Air Command with AI. In addition, the tablets double as a Galaxy home AI device, allowing users to control all SmartThings-enabled devices with a 3D Map View.

The dimensions of the Tab S10+ are 185.4 x 285.4 x 5.6 mm, while it weighs 571 grams for the Wi-Fi variant and 576 grams for the 5G variant.

Out of the box, the Tab S10+ ships with a 12.4-inch 120hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with anti-reflection coating. Complementing the display is a quad-speaker setup.

Under the hood, the tablet runs on the capable MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. The regular Tab S10+ comes in two storage variants: 256GB and 512GB, both of which feature 12GB of RAM. However, with a microSD card, users can increase the storage to 1.5TB.

Regarding optics, the tablet features a dual-rear camera setup, which includes a 13MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, users get a 12MP ultrawide sensor.

Powering the tablet is a 10,090 mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging. Connectivity options on the Tab S10+ include 5G (sub-6/mmW), Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth v5.3.

The dimensions of the Tab S10 Ultra are 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.4 mm, while it weighs 718 grams for the Wi-Fi variant and 723 grams for the 5G variant.

The larger dimensions fit in a 14.6-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with a similar anti-reflection coating. Like the regular tablet, this one also features quad speakers with a Dialogue Boost feature that amplifies voices over unwanted noise.

Under the hood, the tablet sports the same processor as the Tab S10+. Regarding storage models, the Tab S10 Ultra ships with a higher RAM and storage variant (16GB + 1TB). The tablet also supports a similar microSD card capacity. Samsung says that the tablet provides an 18% faster CPU and 28% faster GPU.

The Tab S10 Ultra has a slightly different camera setup, including the same cameras on the rear but another 12MP sensor on the front (in addition to the 12MP ultrawide sensor. Powering the tablet is a slightly larger 11,200 mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging.

Unlike the regular Tab S10, the Tab S10 Ultra supports 5G (sub-6), Wi-Fi 7 (faster than Wi-Fi 6E), and Bluetooth v5.3.

Besides the differences, both the tablets have an S Pen in the box, an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, and a fingerprint scanner on the display. Further, both tablets support Samsung’s Book Cover Keyboard (Slim), Smart Book Cover (with Galaxy AI Key), Outdoor Cover, Notepad Screen, and Privacy Screen accessories.

While Samsung hasn’t announced the price for the Galaxy Tab S10 and the Tab S10 Ultra, it has confirmed that the models will be available for orders starting from October 3, 2024, in two colors: Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver.
