Samsung revealed that its flagship phones, Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be launched on February 25, ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) next month. The South Korean firm confirmed the same by officially posting the invitation for Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event where the duo will be presented.
As per the invitation, the number “9” alludes to Galaxy S9/S9+ and the text “The Camera. Reimagines.” could be presumed to refer to the upgraded camera performance. “If a picture is worth a thousand words, the latest member of the Galaxy family has a lot to say.” company writes alongside the invite.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Features (Leaked)
Previous camera rumors of the new Galaxy S-series hinted that the phones will have “Super Speed Dual Pixel 12 MP” sensor on the rear. The sensor will have a slow-mo mode, OIS and variable f/1.5 to f/2.4 aperture lens. While on the front, it has an 8MP AF selfie camera.
Samsung once again will be offering bezel-less infinity 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone will be powered by industry’s latest Snapdragon 845 chipset, and the global version, with an equivalent Exynos 9810 SoC.

The phone will run on Samsung’s latest Experience 9.0 based Android Oreo out of the box. The Galaxy S9 is said to have 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM while the Galaxy S9+ could employ 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Chances are the Galaxy S9+ may also arrive with a 512GB storage option.
Other Galaxy S9 and S9+ features include AKG-tuned stereo speakers and earphones, wireless charging support, Knox security, IP68 water and dust resistance, and iris scanner.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Price in India and Launch Date
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ expected to launch in India sometime in March 2018 after a global launch on 25 February. Samsung is likely to announce S9 and S9+ price at the same event.
