Samsung has just launched the Galaxy S23 Series and it includes 3 devices- Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra tops the line-up and thus is loaded with specs and features which can’t be found on the other 2 members of the S23 family. One of the main highlights of the Galaxy S23 Ultra is the integrated S-Pen. You get the stylus bundled with the device, and it also has a dedicated silo to keep it, so that one doesn’t end up misplacing it. Here are all the cool things that this stylus can do.

Samsung S-Pen Capabilities

The S-Pen received a major upgrade last year and this year, Samsung has just built further on it. It has an incredibly low latency of 2.8 milliseconds allowing for a real pen-like experience. The pen has a 0.7mm fine tip and 4096 pressure levels to make writing and drawing on the phone’s screen as smooth as on paper.

The stylus can serve as a remote for Galaxy S23 Ultra as you can use it to control the camera shutter, pause/turn up your playlist, and more. It comes with Air Command that can pull up features like Smart Select, Screen Write, Live messages, and more without even touching the screen.

The S-Pen helps you ditch the dependency on notebooks, making sketches and memos effortless and eco-friendly. S-Pen can help you highlight event info from a poster or a video, then simply tap to save the date straight into your calendar. It can turn your handwritten notes to the text within a few seconds. Artists can doodle over photos using the S-Pen. You can take notes and make to-do lists using an S-Pen anytime, anywhere.

The S-pen also helps you translate between 30+ languages, by choosing your source target and hovering over the word or block of text and you will see the translation immediately. The S-Pen can also take notes on the Galaxy S23 ultra without unlocking the display. You can write emails by hand, sketch ideas, and more using an S-Pen.

All in all, the S-Pen makes the Galaxy S23 Ultra an ideal device for artists and others alike. If you damage the in-built S-pen, you can purchase it for just 49.99 USD from Samsung’s official website. Samsung will sell the S-Pen in the same colors as the handset-Green, Cream, Lavender, and Black.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra itself is up for pre-order in the US, starting at 1199 USD. General sales will begin on February 17.
