Samsung Galaxy S23 spotted on BIS Website: India launch confirmed

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Series is expected to launch in February 2023. It is said to include- Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. There have been various leaks and rumors about the devices in the series which tell us about their design and specs. Now, the India launch has been confirmed as the vanilla variant has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website.

Samsung Galaxy S23 on BIS

The Galaxy S23 has the model number Samsung SM-S911B/DS which has been certified recently. The NBTC website confirms that it will be a 5G device. The device with the same model number has been seen on the BIS website which has confirmed the Indian launch of the smartphone, or rather the Samsung Galaxy S23 Series as a whole.

Samsung Galaxy S23: Expected specs

The Samsung Galaxy S23 vanilla model is tipped to sport a 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

In terms of camera optics, the Galaxy S23 is said to have a 50MP+12MP+10MP setup at the back and a 10MP selfie lens at the front. The device will pack a 3900mAh battery with fast charging.
