Samsung recently confirmed that it will hold its first Unpacked Event for 2022 in February wherein it launches its Galaxy S22 Series. It made this announcement without revealing the exact launch date. However, a recent leak has taken the lid off. It tells us when can we expect the forthcoming event. [हिंदी में पढ़ें]

Tipster Evan Blass has shared a poster for the event wherein the date of the event is given as February 9th, 2022. Yes, you heard it right, Samsung’s Unpacked event will most likely be happening on 9 February 2022. Moreover, information about the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series in the European market has leaked too.

What to expect from Unpacked Event?

Samsung is expected to launch the much-awaited Galaxy S22 Series during the event. The series is said to have 3 variants- Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Ultra model which is the top end one is said to come with an S-pen slot. This will make it the first S-series device with an S-pen slot.

In the latest blog post wherein the event was announced, Samsung Electronic’s President DJ Koh revealed, “At Unpacked event in February 2022, we’ll introduce you to the most noteworthy S series device we’ve ever created.”

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Series devices are said to be powered by Exynos 2200 chipset in some regions, whereas it will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in other regions. The Ultra model is expected to have a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display with 2k resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This might be an LTPO display panel with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The company is also expected to launch the Galaxy Tab 8 Series at the February event. It will have 3 variants too- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Expected Price & Storage

Tipster Roland Quandt has claimed that the Galaxy S22 will start at $963, the S22Plus will cost $1190 and the base S22 Ultra will cost $1417.

The base model of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will have 12GB RAM and the top model will have 16GB RAM. There are also rumors about the company bringing a 1TB storage model. There will be two SoC variants for the Galaxy S22 Series, namely the Exynos 2200 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

The Exynos variant will be available in the European markets whereas the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will be available in North and South America along with East Asia, South East Asia, and Oceania. West Asia and the Middle East along with Africa will get a mix of Exynos and Snapdragon variants likely on a nation-by-nation basis.
