Samsung Galaxy On8 16GB Launched On Flipkart For 15,900 INR

As we reported earlier, Samsung is set to launch Galaxy On8 during the upcoming Big Billion Days Sale on Flipkart. Today, Samsung’s retail partner of Samsung has gone live with Galaxy On8 detailing specification, features, and retail price. It will be available starting from October 2, 2016.

Samsung is targeting “students, professionals, and homemakers” with this latest On Series offering. The phone flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display which should offer excellent color and view angle. Under the hood, it features Samsung’s octa-core Exynos 7580 Chipset which is clocked at 1.6GHz. The On8 packs 3gigs of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which can be bumped up to 128GB via a microSD card.

For photography, it flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash at the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front, also with flash assistance for low-light selfies. It is aided by a 3300mAh removable battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based TouchWIZ UI. It comes with a dual SIM slot which supports 4G VoLTE, 3G, and 2G networks. With Galaxy On8, Samsung has finally added an ambient light sensor to one of its affordable phones.

This is Samsung’s most expensive On series handset in India, and you can expect a few bundled launch day offers when it’s finally available but we would still suggest that you wait for the reviews to be out before placing your order.
