After the global launch, Samsung is all set to introduce their flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, in India. The South Korean firm has started rolling out the invites for the September 12 event, where the Note 8 – successor of the company’s last year fiasco Galaxy Note 7 – will be launched.
Interestingly, Samsung will do its Note 8 India launch on the same day Apple has decided to host their tenth-anniversary event, where they will launch the much awaited iPhone 8.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specification and Features
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes clad in an all metal unibody design, with the compact look and sleek body finish. Upfront, the phone sports a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a widescreen 18:5:9 aspect ratio. The back of the phone features a dual-camera and a fingerprint sensor.
From inside, the Galaxy Note 8 comes equipped with Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, with Adreno 540 GPU. Supporting the processor is a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, which you can expand to up to 256GB with a microSD card.
At the camera front, the Note 8 comes with 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture + 12MP telephoto lens with a f/2.4 aperture that offers up to 3X optical zoom at the back, whereas the front camera is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter, supported by auto-focus setting.
The battery on Galaxy Note 8 will be considerably smaller, 3300mAh to be exact, and comes with wireless fast-charging support. As for the software, the phone runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Experience UX 8.5 garnished on top, out of the box.
Samsung has further added support for its stylus S pen which is an integral part of its Note Series. It also comes with an Iris scanner, a fingerprint sensor, and facial recognition to secure the device.
