Samsung Galaxy M21 launched in India: Price, Specs & Availability

Samsung has launched a new affordable M-series phone, the Galaxy M21, in India. The phone was originally slated to launch on March 16 but the company had to reschedule it for March 18. 

The Galaxy M31 offers quite a few interesting features including Android 10-based OneUI software, triple rear cameras, and a massive 6000mAh battery for an affordable sub-15K price. 

Samsung Galaxy M21 Price and Availablity

The South Korean giant has priced Galaxy M21 starting at Rs 12,999 for the Indian market. The price of the higher configuration (6GB + 128GB) variant is yet to be revealed. Amazon India will start selling Galaxy M21 from March 23 onwards. The latest M-series phone will also be available in brick and mortar stores.

Samsung Galaxy M21 Features & highlights

The Galaxy M21’s biggest attraction is its triple rear camera array that’s led by a 48-megapixel primary sensor. At the front, there is a single selfie camera with a 20-megapixel sensor.

The triple-camera setup on M21 comprises of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 123-degree field-of-view, and a 5MP depth sensor for portrait shots.

The Samsung Galaxy M21 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with U -shape notch. Samsung’s own mid-range workhorse, Exynos 9611 octa-core, drives the phone. Its is offered in 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage options. Dedicated microSD card slot allows storage expansion up to 512GB.

Just like the Galaxy M31, Samsung has built-in a 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

The fingerprint scanner is mounted at the rear panel. As usual, OneUI 2 based on Android 10 runs the show. As for connectivity, the M21 supports Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C options.
