Samsung Galaxy A53 5G with SAMOLED screen, Exynos 1280 SoC Launched in India: Pre-bookings now open

South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone in India today i.e. March 21, 2022. The phone will be available globally including the Indian market. It can be seen as a successor to the Galaxy A52 series which launched last year. It has an updated design and specs hope to woo the mid-range smartphone buyers in the country.

The device will be in direct competition with the likes of the Vivo V23 Pro and Xiaomi 11i series.  Samsung claims, “The Galaxy A53 5G brings flagship inspired innovation with power, versatility, and affordability for its young customers.” Let us have a look at the price, specs, and other details of the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A53 Price & Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will be available in 2 storage variants-

  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 34,999
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 35,999

These are introductory prices which are said to have been discounted by Rs. 5000. It will come in 4 attractive colors- Black, White, Peach, and Light Blue.

Pre-bookings for Galaxy A53 are now open and those who pre-book will be able to purchase it starting 25th March 2022 via Samsung.com and authorized retail dealers.

As a part of pre-booking offer, the buyers can avail of a cashback of Rs. 3000 on ICICI bank cards. The Samsung website is also offering 1 year of Screen protection at Rs. 2499.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Specs

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080×2400 pixel resolution. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by Exynos 1280 Soc. Galaxy A53 5G has up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity, which is expandable up to 1TB.

In the camera department, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes with a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide sensor, 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro sensor. It has a 32MP selfie camera as well. The phone runs Android 12 OS with Samsung One UI 4.1.

Galaxy A53 packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 25W fast charging capability. It comes with a Samsung Knox privacy dashboard, in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, and IP67 rating.
