Samsung opens biggest experience store in New Delhi: Poco aims to go offline in India this year

India has been emerging as one of the major markets for leading tech brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, Poco, Motorola, and more. In 2023, many of these top brands are going offline in India, and those which have an offline network plan to expand it even more. In this article, we will talk about Samsung (which has expanded its network) and Poco (Which plans to venture into offline space this year).

Samsung Experience Store in Delhi

Recently, tech giant Samsung has opened one of its largest ‘Experience Stores’ in North India at the iconic Connaught Place in New Delhi. The new store showcases the brand’s complete product ecosystem through zones like Connected Living, Smartphones, Audio, Gaming, Lifestyle, and Wearables.

500 lucky consumers among the first 500 buyers at the store will get a chance to win a Galaxy Z Fold 4 or a Galaxy Z Flip 4 while the first 200 buyers spending above Rs. 10,000 will get assured gifts on every purchase. Those who come to the store between January 30 to February 4 will get 2x loyalty points on the entire Samsung portfolio while those who buy select Galaxy devices between February 9 and February 15 will get Buds 2 at Rs. 2999.

The store is spread over 3500 sq. ft. and will host events as well such as Galaxy workshops, live commerce activities, and cultural performances.

Poco to enter Offline market

While Poco is all set to launch X5 Pro Series on the 6th of February, the brand has now confirmed that it will finally have an offline presence in India this year. In his interview with a leading tech website, the company head revealed, “ Happy to share that we will be expanding into the offline market and will start with selected cities initially. The plan is to launch offline stores in the top 10 cities in the next few months.” He also confirmed that the next few months might see some key non-mobile category products that might launch in India this year.

The brand has recently signed cricketer Hardik Pandya as its brand ambassador and plans to be the same aggressive name in terms of pricing and specs.
