Samsung earlier revealed its 2019 roadmap with bezel-less and notch-less designs in the recently concluded Samsung Developer Conference. It has come with prototype designs for displays sporting U-shaped, V-shaped and O-shaped front camera holes along with a new Infinity design which is touted to be the full end-to-end display which the company eventually aims to achieve.

Infinity – O display to feature first in Samsung Galaxy A8s?

Now, news has been making rounds that Samsung is ready with its first smartphone sporting the Infinity-O display. As per the reports, the new Samsung Galaxy A8s will be the company’s first phone to include an Infinity-O design.

Huawei was also eager to showcase their new smartphone Huawei Nova 4 which features a strikingly similar design. Huawei has already announced the launch of Nova phones on December 17. So Samsung has also hastened things up by scheduling the launch of their Galaxy A8s on December 10.

Coming to the design, the new Samsung Galaxy A8s will have a small hole which houses the front camera and this hole will be placed close to the left corner of the handset. This design is expected to give a better viewing experience but how it affects the display of applications and notifications is yet to be figured out.
