Rolls-Royce the company which is known for its classic and luxurious cars has launched the upgraded version of its popular SUV Cullinan. The company has revamped the car after sic years of its actual launch and now it’s called the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II. The newly launched variant comes with a plethora of new features and cosmetic changes which might leave you amazed. Let’s check out the details here.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II Design

Talking about the design the company has made some significant changes to the front by redesigning the headlights and always on LEDs and DRLs. There is also a revamped illuminated pantheon grille along with a bumper with air intakes that are especially tweaked for better performance. The bumper lines create a subtle ‘V’ shape, extending from the base of the daytime running lights to the center. This design, according to Rolls-Royce, pays homage to the sleek bow lines found on contemporary sports yachts.

The updated design also includes a noticeable line that runs from the taillights to the center of the rear wheels’ ‘RR’ center caps. Plus, there are shiny stainless steel exhaust exits and a brushed stainless-steel rear skid plate, adding a touch of elegance and style to the vehicle’s rear end.

Inside the cabine, the Cullinan Series II comes with all new dashboard design which is much different from its previous models. Moreover, the SUV comes with a cool glass panel across the front, stretching from one side to the other. The dashboard offers lights that show a picture of a city skyline at night, inspired by big cities around the world. Rolls-Royce has also updated the screens in the car: one shows your speed and stuff like that, while the other is for playing music and stuff. And they’ve added a new system called Spirit, which is like a fancy computer program, similar to what they put in the Spectre electric car.

What Is Spirit?

The new Spirit system, a first for V12 Rolls-Royces, lets customers customize instrument dial colors to match their Cullinan’s exterior or interior. Rolls also introduces Whispers, an app for remote locking, sharing destinations, and tracking the SUV’s location. Plus, rear seat screens now control content and seat functions.

Furthermore, the company claims that the now with Series II any Bluetooth headphone can be paired with the passanger seat infotainment system. Also Wi-Fi connectivity can be utilized seperately for independent streaming.

Powertrain

Talking about the powerful engine under the hood, the Cullinan Series II is launched with a 6.7-litre, twin turbo V12 engine. The gigantic engine is capable of clocking up to 600bhp of power and 900Nm of torque. Orders for the Cullinan Series II are currently available, and it has been expected that it will come with a higher price than the previous model, which was priced at Rs 6.95 crore (ex-showroom) before options.
