Rolls-Royce makes waves in India with the debut of its inaugural electric luxury car, the Spectre, priced at Rs 7.5 crore (ex-showroom). Having garnered global attention since its October 2022 unveiling, the ultra-luxury EV coupe has already seen its first delivery in India ahead of the official launch. Get ready to delve into all the details surrounding this opulent milestone in automotive innovation.

Rolls-Royce Spectre Design

Remaining loyal to Rolls-Royce’s timeless aesthetics, the Spectre boasts distinctive design elements that evoke a sense of bespoke luxury. The iconic illuminated Rolls-Royce grille at the forefront sets a captivating tone, creating an enchanting nocturnal ambiance. Aerodynamically crafted, the Spirit of Ecstasy ornament not only exudes elegance but also contributes to the Spectre’s remarkable drag coefficient of 0.25cd. Riding on impressive 23-inch alloy wheels, the vehicle showcases a sleek profile with subtly designed vertical taillight elements, embodying a blend of sophistication and neat aesthetics.

Step into the lap of luxury with the interior of this exceptional vehicle. The door pads are adorned with a starlight liner, boasting an impressive 4,796 softly illuminated stars—an exquisite touch typically reserved for the lavish ceilings of Rolls-Royce cars. On the passenger side dashboard panel, you’ll find a captivating ‘Spectre’ nameplate, elegantly illuminated, and it magically fades away when the car is not in use, adding a touch of mystery to the overall experience.

Rolls-Royce Spectre Features

The digital driver’s display, running on Rolls-Royce’s latest ‘Spirit’ software platform, introduces a new era of digital precision within the vehicle’s cockpit. Accompanying the driver, a digital display offers both functionality and the opportunity to showcase digitized art or a personally chosen welcome animation.

In keeping with Rolls-Royce’s signature style, the Spectre is highly customizable. Select your preferred color theme and trim, and add a personal flair by opting for your name to be intricately embroidered on the seats. More than just a vehicle, the Spectre stands as a canvas for self-expression, seamlessly integrating technology and craftsmanship in a distinctive manner.

Powertrain

Powering the Spectre is an electric motor that produces 593 PS and an impressive 900 Nm of torque, delivering a claimed WLTP range of 530 km. Despite its substantial weight of nearly 3 tonnes, this luxury electric vehicle defies expectations with an impressive 0-100kmph acceleration time of just 4.5 seconds.
