ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Edition is out: Know what’s so cool about it

Asus has announced the ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition gaming laptop. In addition to the standard ROG Zephyrus G14 specs, the special edition includes some additional features and elements. The ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Laptop was designed in collaboration with Asus’ ROG brand and hit DJ and music producer Alan Walker.

ROG Zephyrus G14 Features

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition features an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS processor with 8GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM (SO DIMM slot)+ 8GB (onboard) memory. A M.2 NVMe PCIe3.0x2 slot provides 1TB of SSD storage. For graphics, there is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti GPU with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM.

This laptop has a 14-inch QHD (2560×1440) IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Beneath the screen, there is a Backlit Chiclet Keyboard with 4 Hotkeys and an SSO fingerprint power button. As for sound, the G14 comes with two 2.5W speakers and two 0.7W array microphones.

The gaming laptop has got two USB3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, one of which supports DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery. Additionally, there are two USB3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and one HDMI 2.0 port. Lastly, there is a 3.5mm headphone and microphone combo port and a Kensington lock.

For connectivity, the laptop comes with Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 as well as a 180W power supply. The machine weighs 1.7kg and measures 32.4(W) x 22.2(D) x 1.99(H).

The laptop even has a custom boot animation and Alan Walker wallpaper. Glass touchpads are shaded with a pattern inspired by a music equalizer, and keycaps bear Alan Walker’s signature colors, plus A and W keys feature the producer’s logo.
