ASUS India has unveiled four new gaming laptops, powered by the Nvidia RTX 5070 GPU. These include the TUF Gaming F16 with an Intel processor, the TUF Gaming A16 with an AMD processor, the ROG Strix G16, and the ROG Zephyrus G14. While the laptops feature top-tier specifications for running demanding video games, they also offer a three-month PC Game Pass.

Before we begin with the laptops and their specifications, it’s essential to note that all of them run on Windows 11 Home and come pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home 2024 and Microsoft 365 Basic.

First up, the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 features up to a 16-inch QHD+ 2.5K screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of peak brightness, and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space.

Under the hood, the laptop features the AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor (with 80MB cache, a maximum frequency of up to 5.3 GHz, 16 cores, and 32 threads), coupled with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD (upgradable to 4TB).

As mentioned earlier, the laptop features up to 8GB of Nvidia’s RTX 5070 laptop GPU with 115W max TGP. Connectivity options on the laptop include one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with support for DisplayPort and G-Sync (with data speed up to 10 Gbps).

Additionally, the device features three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports (capable of up to 10 Gbps), Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, and an RJ45 LAN port. At the time of writing this report, the ASUS TUG Gaming A16 is available on the company’s official website for Rs. 1,69,990.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F16, like the TUF Gaming A16, features the same 16-inch QHD+ 2.5K screen with 165Hz refresh rate and 400 nits peak brightness.

However, under the hood, the laptop is powered by the 14th Generation Intel Core i7-14650HX processor (with 30MB cache, a maximum clock speed of up to 5.2 GHz, 16 cores, and 24 threads).

Besides the capable CPU, the TUF Gaming F16 features up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD (upgradable up to 4TB), and 8GB GDDR7 of Nvidia RTX 5070 laptop GPU with a maximum graphic voltage of 115W.

Connectivity options on the laptop include one Thunderbolt 4 port (supporting DisplayPort and G-Sync, with data speeds of up to 40 Gbps), one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. Other connectivity features remain similar to the TUF Gaming A16.

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 features a 16-inch QHD+ 2.5K screen that offers a 240Hz refresh rate, achieves 500 nits of peak brightness, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Unlike the other two laptops, the Strix G16 runs on the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor (36MB, up to 5.4 GHz maximum frequency, 24 cores, and 24 threads), up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 storage (upgradable up to 4TB), and 8GB Nvidia RTX 5070 laptop GPU.

While the Strix G16 shares most of its connectivity options with the TUF Gaming F16, it features Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth v5.4. At the time of writing this article, the ASUS Strix G16 is available for Rs. 2,29,990 for the variant with 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 sports a 14-inch 3K OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can achieve a peak brightness of 500 nits. Complementing the display is a four-speaker system with dual woofers and Dolby Atmos support.

Under the hood, the laptop features the AMD Ryzen 9 270 processor (24MB cache, up to 5.2 GHz maximum clock speed, eight cores, and 16 threads).

The chipset is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, AMD’s XDNA NPU (up to 16 TOPS), and Nvidia’s RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 GPU (90W with Turbo Mode). Like all the other ASUS laptops, the Zephyrus G14 also runs Windows 11 Home.

Connectivity options on the laptop include one USB 4 Type-C port (DP/PD, up to 40 Gbps), one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port (DP/PD/G-Sync, up to 10 Gbps), two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports (up to 10 Gbps), one microSD reader, one HDMI 2.1 port, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth v5.4.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 with the AMD Ryzen 9 270 CPU, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage costs Rs. 1,84,999.
