Reliance JioTag Air Specifications And Features

Reliance JioTag Air features

The items tracker can help users locate their keys, ID cards, wallets, handbags, luggage, etc. It could also function as a pet tracker. It features Bluetooth v5.3 to enable the wireless tracking feature. Further, there’s a speaker on the device, which, despite its tiny size, can emit a sound between 90-120 decibels, making it easier for users to locate their belongings. Last but not least, the device is compatible with both Android JioThings, Android 9 or later) and iOS (Find My, iOS 14 or later) devices.

The JioTag Air offers three core features. The first one is called Find Mode, which shows users turn-by-turn directions to the tagged item. The second one is called Remind Mode. Similar to separation alerts on AirTag, the Remind Mode alerts users if they’re leaving the tagged item behind. Last but not least, the Lost Mode crowdsources the item’s location through JioThings or the Find My network. Apart from these modes, users can also play a sound on the device’s speaker to locate it.

In comparison with the AirTag, the JioTag Air doesn’t seem to provide the Precision Finding feature due to a lack of an ultra-wideband chip. The new tracker weighs 10 grams, measures 38mm x 38mm x 7mm, has a polycarbonate exterior, and lasts up to one year on a battery. As a security measure, the JioTag Air can only be used with one account (or person) at a time.

Reliance JioTag Air how to set up

While the JioTag Air supports “Ring to Find Phone” on JioThings, it doesn’t support the feature on Apple’s Find My network. Similarly, the JioTag doesn’t support “Reconnection Alert on Phone.” However, the device-sharing feature is only available with Find My.

Reliance JioTag Air Price And Availability

While the JioTag Air’s regular price is Rs. 2,999, it is currently available on Amazon for Rs. 1,499. Buyers can choose from three color options, including red, gray, and blue. Further, the tagging device is also available on JioMart and Reliance Digital.
