Redmi Watch with built-in GPS and 24/7 heart rate monitor starts at ₹3,999

Alongside the Redmi Note 10S launch in India, we also got a surprise reveal of Redmi Watch. Originally debuted back in November last year, the watch is finally going to hit the shelves in the country with some upgrades of its own. The Redmi Watch sports a familiar rounded rectangle design. Inside, it sports 11 sports modes and 9-day battery life in typical usage.

Redmi Watch Specs

Redmi Watch has got a 1.4-inch touch color LCD display with 320×320 pixel resolution, 350 nits brightness, and 60% NTSC color coverage. You get to deck it up using 200+ watch faces. The case connects to a silicon strap. The whole thing weighs 35 grams.

Under the hood, the health features include trackers for 24-hour heart rate monitoring (with automated heart rate logging), breathing, sleep, steps, calories, and distance. There is even a sedentary reminder to notify when you stay stationary for long.

The watch also bears 11 sports modes including Indoor Running, Outdoor Running, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Treadmill, open water/pool swimming (5 ATM water resistance), Freestyle, trekking, trail run, and records for all these activities.

You also get basics like real-time call and message alerts from the phone, alarm reminder, ambient light sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, altimeter, compass, music control, weather, flashlight, among other things.

Redmi claims the watch can clock 9 days in typical usage and if you use it with GPS on, you could expect 10 hours worth of juice.

Redmi Watch Price and Availability

You can pick the Redmi Watch in Olive, Black, Blue, and Ivory colors at ₹3,999 from Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home. The sale starts on May 25, 2021, at 12 noon.
