Xiaomi India is gearing up to launch a new smart TV this month. The product will come as an addition to the lineup of Fire TVs in the country. Earlier this year, the company released the Redmi Smart Fire TV 32-inch at Rs. 11,999 in the country. The television featured an HD-ready screen, supported Apple AirPlay and Miracast, and had two built-in speakers. Given that it had so many features, it makes sense to expect the same from the upcoming model by Xiaomi.

Amazon Confirms Redmi Smart Fire TV’s Launch Date

According to an Amazon microsite, the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 43-inch launches in India on September 15, 2023. The microsite also unveils some design details, including a bezel-less panel and sleek stand. Unfortunately, that is the extent of information about the product. We know the smart TV will run on Amazon’s Fire OS platform.

The upcoming Redmi smart TV should also have a voice-enabled remote to let users switch channels, launch apps, and search for titles using Alexa. The global version of the product ships with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Other expected features include Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, DTS-Virtual sound, and a Mali G52 MP2 GPU.

Like other models, the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 43-inch should be available at an attractive price in India, especially at launch, when the company should run certain introductory offers.
