The Redmi Note 13 Pro is about to launch in India soon. Ahead of the official announcement by the company, an Indian tipster has revealed the box price of a particular variant, and it matches that of the popular mid-range smartphones.
Redmi Note 13 Pro To Launch In India On January 4, 2024
For those catching up, Redmi Note 13 Pro is a part of the Redmi Note 13 launched in China recently. There are other models in the series, but they might arrive in India a bit late. That said, here is everything you should know about the Redmi Note 13 Pro Indian variant.
Note 13 Pro’s Indian Box Pricing Tipped
The Redmi Note 13 Pro, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, has a box price of Rs. 32,999. Now, this doesn’t mean that the smartphone will retail in the country for the price. Although smartphone manufacturers often put a price on the box, they mostly never sell it on the price and keep the general pricing of the product slightly lower.
Hence, as the phone arrives, there’s a good chance of an introductory offer that slashes the price, reducing the effective price to around Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 30,000. However, does the phone make sense at this price?
Note 13 Pro’s Chinese Variant Carries These Specifications
The Chinese version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness. It also features 1920Hz PWM dimming and Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front panel.
Under the hood, the handset runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor based on Samsung’s 4nm fabrication technology. The chipset has four 2.2GHz cores and four 1.95GHz cores. The phone also features LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The Smartphone Ships With A 200MP Primary Sensor
Regarding optics, the Redmi Note 13 Pro should feature a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor with an 8MP secondary sensor and a 2MP tertiary sensor. Most likely, the secondary sensor should provide an ultrawide field of view. On the front, users will get a 16MP selfie shooter. Powering the smartphone is a 5,100 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging.
Other smartphone features include a dual X-Axis linear vibration motor, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP54 water and dust resistance rating.
Here’s The Pricing For The Base Model
The Chinese variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage sells for approximately Rs. 16,000, a good starting point for a smartphone with such specifications. However, whether the 12GB RAM variant with a box price of Rs. 32,999 will turn a lot of heads, even after a discount, is something we’re yet to find out.
Other smartphones in the Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 include the Motorola Moto G54 5G, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, and the Poco X5 Pro.
