After months of rumors and leaks, Xiaomi finally revealed the Note 13 series in China. The series comprises three smartphones, including the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and the Note 13 Pro Plus. Given the company’s history of releasing the Note series in the global markets, we expected the company to announce a date. However, before that could happen, a tipster has claimed that one of the three phones could come out with a different moniker.

Redmi Note 13 Pro Or POCO X6 Pro?

Tipster Kacper Skrzypek claims that Redmi Note 13 Pro will be available in the global market as a POCO-branded smartphone. There’s a good chance that the phone could debut as the POCO X6 Pro, although that’s a speculation. The tipster didn’t say anything about the smartphone’s launch in India, though, so that’s something interested customers are yet to find out.

As mentioned earlier, Redmi’s Note series has always been among India’s most popular entry-level devices. Hence, the company will likely launch a few, if not all, models in the country. Skrzypek, in another post on the platform X (formerly known as Twitter), mentions that Redmi is gearing up to bring the Redmi Note 13 and the Note 13R Pro in the country, but he didn’t say anything about when will these devices arrive.

Redmi Note 13 Pro Expected Specifications

Regarding the Redmi Note 13 Pro’s specifications, the smartphone has a 6.67-inch 1.5L FHD+ AMOLED screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. In China, it is available in several storage models, including 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB, 12/512GB, and 16/512GB.

The smartphone also has a 200MP HP3 Samsung sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. Out of the box, Note 13 Pro runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13. It also has a 5,100 mAh battery that supports 67W fast wired charging.
