Redmi 10 arrives in India with a 6000mAh battery & dual camera setup on the back

China-based Tech giant Redmi (sub-brand under Xiaomi) has launched the next smartphone in its ‘number series’ in India today. Redmi 10 has gone official in the country which is the first to run Android 13 and has a 6000mAh battery.

Redmi’s number series targets budget consumers in the country. Redmi 10 first came in 2021 in China after which the company launched its refreshed version in 2022. But in India, the variant that has launched has its specs tweaked. It has a waterdrop style notch and updates in the hardware department as well. It is basically the rebranded version of Redmi 10C which launched in Nigeria recently.

Redmi 10 Price & Availability

The Redmi 10 Prime will be available in 2 storage variants-

  • 4GB RAM+64GB storage- Rs. 10,999
  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 12,999

It will come in 3 stylish colors- Midnight Black, Caribbean Green, and Pacific Blue. The first sale will happen on March 24 at 12 noon. It will be available across Flipkart.com, Mi Home, and Mi Studio.

Redmi 10 Design

Redmi 10 features the EVOL design. It comes with a stylish textured finished back while the rear camera hosts a fingerprint sensor that blends into the camera module devised for single-hand use. The smartphone has rubberized seals to prevent water ingression and ports are made corrosion proof. Multi-layer graphite sheet claims faster dissipation of heat to protect the device from any heating issues.

Redmi 10 Specs

The Redmi 10 sports a 6.71-inch IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs MIUI 13 based on Android 11 out of the box and has Adreno 610 GPU. It offers Widevine L1 Certification for HD viewing across streaming options. The phone has a 1.5W speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In the camera department, Redmi 10 has a dual-camera setup on the back. It has a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor for closeup shots. There is a 5MP selfie camera as well. The smartphone packs a 6000mAh battery under the hood with 18W fast charging. It claims to give up to 10 hours of uninterrupted gaming, promising a standby time of up to 24 days.
