iQOO Z6 5G launches in India with Snapdragon 695 SoC, 5G tech & 120Hz panel

Just in time. The iQOO Z6 5G is here as expected. It brings a Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood along with 50MP primary snapper, Android 12 but surprisingly, it is a watered-down version of its predecessor which sounds off-putting.. Here’s the story.

The iQOO Z6 5G has finally arrived in India in three trims. You get a 4GB+128GB trim at INR 13,999/-; 6GB+128GB at INR 14,999/-; and finally a 8GB+128GB at 15,999/-. There are some exciting offers that you can enjoy such as up to INR 2,000/- instant discount on using HDFC Cards and EMI transactions. Of course, you will get an exchange offer and time-sensitive bonus, free screen replacement, no-cost EMI on Amazon India. The phone goes on sale on March 22nd. You can choose between Black and Blue color variants onboard.

iQOO Z6 5G Specifications

The iQOO Z6 5G brings onboard a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel sporting 120Hz with 2408×1080 pixels resolution with DCI-P3 color gamut. There’s a 90.61% screen-to-body ratio, a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU and has Android 12-powered FuntouchOS 12 onboard. Z6 5G has 4GB to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage and up to 1TB of expandable storage using a microSD card.

Moving on, we have a triple camera onboard housed in a OnePlus Nord CE 2-like fashion. This includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP portrait lens. Surprisingly, this is a massive downgrade if you wanted to upgrade from iQOO Z5. You also get a 16MP front sensor onboard. You also get a massive 5000mAh battery under the hood paired alongside 18W fast charging tech.

iQOO has equipped the iQOO Z6 5G with a 5-layer 1445mm square-shaped vapor chamber system that is advertised to lower the temperature by 3° and up to 10° C during gaming sessions. Other specifications, in general, include 5G network support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Hybrid Dual SIM card support, Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.1, and a few other things.
