TL; DR
  • realme Watch S5 goes on sale June 5 at a launch price of ₹7,499, valid through June 7.
  • The watch features independent GPS across five satellite systems and over 110 tracked sports modes.
  • Up to 20 days of battery life comes from a 460mAh cell with magnetic charging in 2.5 hours.

realme has brought the Watch S5 to India, and it arrives at a price point where the competition has become genuinely demanding. The competitors already offer AMOLED displays, GPS, and Bluetooth calling; these features are no longer differentiators.

The company’s answer is a well-rounded package that targets both fitness-focused buyers and those who want a capable everyday companion, without spending a premium amount on a smartwatch.

realme Watch S5: Pricing & Availability

The Watch S5 carries a price tag of ₹7,999. The company is also offering a ₹500 introductory discount, which brings the effective price down to ₹7,499, but the offer is only valid for the first sale.

The first sale commences on June 5, 2026, at noon, but it also closes on June 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM. You can purchase the device from Flipkart and the company’s official website, and choose from two different colors: Rock Gray and Sand White.

realme Watch S5: Key Features

First up, the Watch 5 ships with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution (302 ppi) and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, which should hold up well under direct sunlight. The display is encased in an aluminum alloy dial that keeps overall weight at 49.63g, including the strap.

As a smartwatch, the realme Watch S5 relies on Bluetooth v5.4 for handling both data sync and Bluetooth calling, with an independent BT intercom function. As mentioned earlier, it offers plenty of features, including always-on display, customizable cloud-synced watch faces, a functional crown, music control, weather updates, and a Game Guardian mode.

It features a 460 mAh battery that delivers up to 16 days of standard use, but the actual battery life should vary based on usage. A full charge takes around 2.5 hours via the magnetic charger provided in the box. And yes, the smartwatch is 5ATM water resistant.

As a fitness tracker, the realme Watch S5 provides 110+ sports modes, with auto-detection for walking, running, elliptical, and rowing. There’s VO2 Max measurement (a feature often reserved for high-end smartwatches), aerobic training effect analysis, and recovery duration tracking.

Apart from these features, standard features like heart rate tracking, SpO2 measurement, sleep, stress, and noise levels, with women’s health tracking (via the realme Link app), are also supported.
