Realme Watch 2 surfaces in full glory ahead of the launch

Update: Realme Watch 2 has launched in the Malaysian market priced at MYR 229 (~₹4,126).

Realme has scheduled the launch of its Realme Watch 2 in Malaysia for April 30. But prior to the event, the upcoming smartwatch has been spotted on YouTube. And with this new leak, we have got a fair idea of the watch’s specs, design, and retail box.

A Malaysian YouTuber has uploaded an unboxing video featuring Realme Watch 2. In the video, he takes a gander at the specs and features of the smartwatch. Here we will be sharing what we have gathered from the video.

Realme Watch 2 Features (Leaked)

The Realme Watch 2 shows to sport a 1.4-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 320×320 pixels and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The dimensions of the square dial are 257.6 x 35.7 x 12.2mm and the watch weighs 38g. The watch ships with a black soft silicone strap. And on the design front, it appears to be rated with IP68 standards for water and dust resistance as well. 

Feature-wise, the Realme Watch 2 is likely to bring stuff like a 24×7 heart rate monitor, SpO2 blood oxygen sensor, sleep tracking, fitness activities, and up to 90 sports modes. It can also control the smartphone’s music, camera, and notifications whence connected to the Realme’s Link mobile app.

It is said to run on a 305mAh battery with a promise of up to 12 days of backup. And as for compatibility, it should support Android 5.0 phones or above versions via Bluetooth 5.0.  

Realme Watch 2 Price

There is no revelation about the price of Realme Watch 2 but we believe it to be priced at around Rs. 4,000. The standard Realme Watch (review) is currently retailing at Rs. 3,490 while the premium Realme Watch S Pro (review) is selling at Rs. 9,990 through Flipkart and Amazon.

In India, the Watch 2 was slated to debut during the Realme‘s anniversary celebration event on May 4 but the company has recently called off all its upcoming launch schedules due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country.
