Despite the Coronavirus hiccup, Realme seems in no mood to slow down. After the Narzo 10 Series launch in India, the company is all set to unveil as many as eight new products at an event on May 25 in China.
Out of these eight products Realme has already started teasing with some of them on Chinese social media site Weibo. The event announcement poster on Weibo clearly hinted new true wireless (TWS) earbuds, a power bank, and smartphone.
Later Realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase on his social media account posted a photo of the back of a phone with the code name ‘Blade Runner’. The phone seems to feature a glossy grey back panel with a quad-camera setup aligned vertically. The rear panel also has Realme branding on the bottom left corner. As per his post, this phone will be announced at the May 25 event.
As per the Weibo poster, the launch event will be held at 2 pm (11:30am IST) time on May 25. Just like the teaser posted by Chase, the phone in the poster also features a quad-camera setup and Realme branded virtually confirming its the same ‘Blade Runner’ phone. The poster also features power bank which seems to feature a regular USB port and a USB Type-C port, along with some LED lights. They’re also an Apple AirPods-style TWS earbuds in the poster. It could be the Realme Buds Air Neo aka Realme Buds Neo which has been in the rumors in past and more recently was spotted on Taiwanese National Communication Commission (NCC) certification site earlier in the year.
Apart from these, it is widely assumed that Realme could announce the Realme X3, X3 SuperZoom and Realme TV officially on May 25. Realme India has been teasing its first smartwatch and smart TV for some time now, with restrictions due to COVID 19, it is possible Realme announce these products now in China first followed by an India launch.
