Realme Teases A Smartphone With Periscope Lens

On September 21, 2023, Realme Global posted an image on the microblogging platform X (previously known as Twitter). The image contains an outline of what looks like a circular camera housing with three sensors, two of which are round, while the one (highlighted in the picture) is rectangular. For those catching up, the periscope zoom lenses are rectangular in shape.

In the image, Realme says that “not only max can zoom,” which references the latest iPhone 15 Pro Max and its advanced 5x optical zoom camera. Hence, it looks like the image is teasing an upcoming smartphone. Although the company didn’t reveal the smartphone’s name, it is speculated that it could be a Realme GT 5 Pro.
