Realme launched the Realme Pad 2 in India in June 2023 followed by the WiFi version of the same Pad launching in April 2024. Now, the brand is further expanding the Tablet lineup by adding the Realme Pad 2 Lite in the country. As the name indicates, the upcoming launch will be a lighter and more affordable version of Realme Pad 2. Realme Pad 2 Lite is arriving in the country on 13th September at 12 PM IST. Ahead of the launch, Realme has not only confirmed the launch date but also some key specs of Realme Pad 2 Lite. The Lite variant will be up for purchase via Flipkart and Realme India website.

The Realme Pad 2 Lite has been confirmed to come with a 2K Eye Comfort screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with an 8300mAh battery which is just 60mAh less than the battery on Realme Pad 2.
The teasers of Realme Pad 2 Lite look pretty similar to Realme Pad 2. It has a dual-tone design and a circular camera module at the back and can be seen in dark grey and lavender hues.

Realme Pad 2 Lite will definitely be priced less than Realme Pad 2 which is available for Rs. 19,999 for the LTE version and Rs. 16,999 for the WiFi version. Realme Pad 2 Lite might have a starting price of 14,999 but there is no confirmation about the Lite version having WiFi and LTE variants.
To recapitulate, the Realme Pad 2 WiFi version comes with an 11.5-inch 2K 120Hz display and is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. It runs Android 13 and sports an 8MP sensor at the back and an 8MP sensor at the front. There is an 8360mAh battery with 33W charging speed and it is available for Rs. 16,999.
