realme is set to expand its P-series lineup with two new models—P3 Ultra 5G and P3 5G—launching in India on March 19. The realme P3 Ultra will be the company’s first P series smartphone with the ‘Ultra’ moniker and rightfully so. The realme P3 Ultra will pack some real good specifications, especially performance and design for its price.
realme P3 Ultra to feature a glow-in-the-dark design
The P3 Ultra 5G comes with a 7.38mm slim profile, making it the brand’s slimmest quad-curved device to date. One of the more noticeable features is its “Lunar Design” back panel—a glow-in-the-dark setup that emits a green hue in low light. This isn’t a first for realme—the P3 Pro also had a glow feature, so it seems realme is continuing that design experiment here as well.
As for specs, the P3 Ultra 5G will run on MediaTek Dimensity 8350, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. While we’ll have to see how it performs in actual usage, realme says it’s aimed at 90 FPS gaming and a 2500 Hz touch sampling rate, targeting casual and mid-level gamers.

Backing this up is a 6,000 mAh battery, with 80W fast charging, and a 6050 mm² cooling system to handle the heat—again, something we’ll need to see in real-world performance before drawing conclusions.

realme P3 5G is also launching

The regular P3 5G takes a different design route with what realme calls a “Space Design” back panel, made using nano-scale photolithography, giving it a 3D textured look. Color options like Space Silver, Comet Grey, and Nebula Pink, and a bright orange power button suggest that design will be a focus for this model too.

On the inside, it runs on Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, which obviously sits below the Ultra’s Dimensity chip in terms of performance. The device will feature a 120 Hz AMOLED display with 2,000 nits peak brightness—good on paper, but real-life brightness and quality will be something to watch for.

It will share the same 6,000 mAh battery, though charging is slower at 45W. An IP69 rating adds some durability (water and dust resistance), and realme mentions an aerospace-grade cooling system—though specifics are unclear.
