Realme GT Neo5 made its debut in China just a few days ago. With a 240W fast charging tech and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood, the phone blew off the roof in terms of performance. Cut to now, we are hearing gossip that another smartphone in the series is expected to join soon. Dubbed the Realme GT Neo5 SE, the phone is likely to get a yet unreleased Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1. Citing its SE moniker which stands for Speed Edition, expect it to be much better. Here’s more about it.

Realme GT Neo5 SE AnTuTu

According to a series of leaks, Realme GT Neo5 SE scored 10,29,731 points on AnTuTu sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 SoC yet to be released. The scores are impressive given the fact that it exceeds that of Dimensity 8200’s 8,62,438 points. In fact, it is more powerful than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 which scored around 8,12,675 points and goes on to show the colossal performance gap.

Of course, these aren’t final AnTuTu scores. We will get the final scores when the phone enters production as it might seem to have some work to finish before settling on a ballpark figure.

Realme GT Neo5 SE Launch Date

According to a post from Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Realme GT Neo5 SE is expected to arrive sometime in March-April this year. We are already midway through February and with that being said, the Realme GT Neo5 SE will launch a couple of days from today. It will share the mid-range market with offerings such as the OnePlus Ace2 Dimensity Edition and Realme Note 12T series launching during the same period as well.

Realme GT Neo5 SE Specifications (Expected)

Realme GT Neo5 has officially launched which means we already know what it brings onboard. When it comes to Neo5 SE, the information on its specifications is slim. The phone is likely based on its vanilla variant that packs in a 6.74” 1.5K 144Hz OLED panel and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. There’s up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. There are two battery variants i.e. a 150W/5,000mAh and a 240W/4,600mAh that you can choose from.

On the optics side, the Realme GT Neo5 gets a 50MP IMX890 primary, an 8MP IMX355 UW secondary, and a 2MP macro camera at the back. A 16MP cam sits on top housed in a punch-hole cut-out.
