Realme Care+ after-sales service launched in India; Here’s all you need to know

Realme has unveiled Realme Care+, its first after-sales support package for both new and existing customers in India. Realme Care+ aims to provide end-to-end customer assistance based on a subscription model. The service offers an extended warranty, accidental warranty, and screen damage protection for Realme customers providing them with two-way protection.

Realme Care+ in India

The Realme Care+ membership service is priced at Rs 489 and will be available on the Realme website and other online and offline channels during the purchase of a new product. If you already own a Realme device, you can still buy and activate the plan through the Realme official store. 

Realme Care+ is divided into three parts – one year of the extended warranty, accidental and liquid damage protection, and screen damage protection.

Communication channels available to Realme Care+ include social media, email, voice calls, WhatsApp, and webchat services. The new subscription-based plan seeks to offer Realme devices an extended warranty, damage protection insurance, and a hassle-free support experience. Customers will also have an access to authorised service centres and genuine spare parts for their Realme handsets.

Realme Care+ subscribers can reach out for support on any preferred channel from 9 am to 9 pm IST. They can avail of the service in different languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Bengali, and Marathi.

The after-sales service system allows SMS notifications, real-time tracking of service requests, self-service, software updates, knowledge banks, pick-up service, TV on-door service, and warranty status checks. To make maintenance and repair jobs easier for consumers using this programme, a supporting service centre will now be backed by the technical support system.

Realme’s CEO, VP, Madhav Sheth commented on Realme Care+, “Through this initiative, we are ensuring a complete service through digital technology with ‘service quality as the foundation and ‘consistency, convenience and care’ as the core values. We are hopeful that Realme’s service will become the customer experience benchmark in the technology industry”.
