Realme India is gearing up to launch a new Android tablet in the market. Dubbed the Realme Pad 2, the device will take after the original Realme Pad. The device will feature a large 11.5-inch display, over 8,000 mAh battery, and supports fast wired charging. Realme Pad 2 Scheduled To Arrive In India Early Next Week
Earlier today, Realme India’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) account confirmed the launch of Realme Pad 2 on April 15, at 12 noon, alongside the Realme P series. Sharing a teaser image of the device, the brand writes, “The big screen just got better and brighter! Get ready to meet your favorite #realmePad2 now with a wifi variant.” While the X post reveals the moniker of the tablet, Realme has also set up a microsite for the product, which unveils other details.
Realme Pad 2 Specifications
According to the official microsite, the Realme Pad 2 will come with an 11.5-inch screen (2000 x 1200 pixels resolution) with 120Hz refresh rate, support for one billion colors, and DC Dimming. The screen can achieve a peak brightness of 450 nits. Further, the microsite also confirms the presence of an 8,360 mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging, or what the company likes to call SUPERVOOC charging.
Since the Realme Pad 2 is already available in China, we have a fair idea of other specifications. For instance, the Android tablet will run on the entry-level MediaTek Helio G99 SoC (6nm) alongside a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. In China, the devices come in two variants, featuring either 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Other device features include an 8MP primary camera, an 8MP selfie shooter, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a quad-speaker system for enhanced multimedia experience, and a USB-C port.
Realme Pad 2 Expected Price
The base variant of the Realme Pad 2 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage could cost around Rs. 19,999, whereas the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage could be priced at Rs. 22,999. Both the models might be Wi-Fi only.
