Realme Book Slim Features

The Realme Book Slim runs on Windows 10 (free upgrade to Windows 11) and features a 14-inch IPS display with a 2K (2,160 x 1,440 pixels) resolution, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. With a peak brightness of 400 nits, the display is said to be up to 33 percent brighter than typical laptop displays. You also get narrow bezels with a thickness of 5.3mm on the sides and 8.45mm on the top. Realme claims to have improved its screen-to-body ratio to 90 percent with the thin bezel design – higher than the 82 percent available on Apple MacBook Air.

The Realme Book Slim comes with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It also has 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. As an additional feature, the laptop has a dual-fan ‘Storm Cooling’ thermal management system with copper pipes to disperse heat.

PC Connect, a feature that Realme has preloaded on the Realme Book Slim, allows users to use the phone’s screen directly on their laptop. In addition, it allows for faster file transfers by simply dragging and dropping files on the laptop’s display. It offers a smart integration of applications that allows the system to recognize the type of files available on your phone, allowing you to access them seamlessly on your laptop.

The Realme Book Slim has a backlit keyboard with a three-position backlight adjustment and 1.3mm key travel. Also included is a touchpad that supports multitouch gestures and Microsoft’s PTP precision touch technology. Additionally, there is a fingerprint-powered power button.

In terms of multimedia, the Realme Book Slim carries two Harman speakers that are said to deliver immersive surround sound. The speakers are also equipped with DTS audio technology. Two microphones on the laptop use artificial intelligence (AI) based algorithms and a pre-processing technology to cancel out noise when a video conference is in progress.
