Yesterday, we talked about how Realme is all set to announce the launch of its next number series, the Realme 12 Series in the country. Realme India X handle has been teasing the launch of a new smartphone with a periscope lens, that is not a flagship.

The brand also held a global event today where it changed the tagline from ‘Dare to Leap’ to ‘Make it Real’. Now, just as this rebranding announcement was made, the first look of the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus has also been leaked via some design renders.

The devices have been spotted on the TENAA certification website which unveiled their back design.

Realme 12 Pro/12 Pro Plus Design Renders

The first look at the design renders confirms that Realme is carrying forward the same Realme 11 Pro Series design ahead but with changes in colors. While the Realme 11 Pro Series came in Green, Black, and Beige shades, this time the smartphones have been spotted in Orange, and White colors.

The Realme 12 Pro apparently has White as one of its options while Realme 12 Pro Plus has Orange as one of the color options. This is kind of a bummer as the brand promised last year that there will be a signature design for every new series they launch.

Otherwise, both feature a curved OLED display with a plastic frame and circular camera module at the back. The back might have leather and glass options just like last year.

Apart from TENAA, the Realme 12 Series was also spotted on the MIIT certification website.

As for the specs, the Realme 12 Pro Plus features a 64MP 70MM OV64B periscope telephoto camera while the Realme 12 Pro sports a 32MP IMX709 2x telephoto lens. Realme 12 5G is also expected to launch alongside the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Plus.

All these spottings on the certification websites indicate that the Indian launch is imminent. Since the Realme 12 Series is expected to launch in January itself, more details about the features and design will be known very soon.

Stay tuned to this space for more updates on this.
