Qualcomm has officially announced the dates for Snapdragon Summit 2026. The company confirmed that the event will take place from September 22 to September 24 in Maui, Hawaii.

The Snapdragon Summit is Qualcomm’s biggest platform showcase of the year, where the company typically unveils its latest flagship mobile processors and shares its technology roadmap for the months ahead.

Snapdragon Summit 2026: What to Expect

While Qualcomm hasn’t revealed the agenda yet, the company is widely expected to introduce its next-generation flagship smartphone chipset at the event. The successor to the current Snapdragon 8 Elite series is likely to power premium Android smartphones launching later this year and in early 2027.

Apart from mobile chipsets, Qualcomm is also expected to showcase advancements in on-device AI, camera technologies, wireless connectivity, and its expanding efforts in the PC and automotive segments.

Recent leaks from tipster Digital Chat Station suggest that Qualcomm is working on multiple high-end Snapdragon platforms, including two new 2nm flagship chipsets. These are rumored to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (SM8950) and the higher-end Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro (SM8975), both expected to feature Qualcomm’s next-generation Oryon CPU architecture.

The tipster also claimed that Qualcomm is developing additional premium Snapdragon chips based on TSMC’s 3nm process, suggesting that the company could introduce a broader flagship portfolio this year.
