QiKU Q Terra goes official in India at Rs. 19,999, comes with Dual 13MP camera

QiKU Q Tera (pronounced as ‘ChiKoo’ Q Tera) is the latest phone to go official in India. QiKU – a Coolpad and Security firm 360’s joint venture – debuted in India after lot of speculations and build up. The company is branding its Q Terra phone as “the ultimate flagship”. Q Terra will be available at Rs. 19,999 for users who have the Q-invites while others can buy it at Rs. 21,999 from Open Sale exclusively at Gadgets360.

The Q Tera is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. To keep this monster cool, phone comes equipped with airspace cooling technology. The super-sized phone flaunts a 6-inch display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. A 2.5D curved glass along with Coring Glass 3 that keeps mild scratches at the bay.

The smartphone has a magnalium alloy uni-body with minimum bezel on the sides. It comes with 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The QiKU Q Terra features Android 5.1.1 with 360 OS UI. As per the company, comes laden with security and performance features of the latest Android v.6.0 Marshmallow. The Chinese device maker has placed a camera module with dual 13MP sensors (both from Sony) for snapping better contrast images.

Like Nexus phones, QiKu Q Terra also boasts of a fingerprint sensor at its rear, which can unlock the device in just 0.5 seconds (company claims). A T shapped 3700mAh battery shall take care of power needs of all categories of users.
