Poco X6 5G Series launched in India: Sale starts on January 16

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has added two new smartphones to its X-Series globally. The Poco X6 Series 5G has been announced in India that includes Poco X6 5G and Poco X6 Pro 5G devices. The smartphones mark the global debut of two chipsets from Qualcomm and MediaTek simultaneously and are packed with top-of-the-line specs including AMOLED displays, 67W charging, 5000mAh battery, and more. The devices will be sold via the e-commerce portal Flipkart very soon.

Alongside the Poco X6 Series, Poco has also launched the Poco M6 Pro 4G smartphone globally. It comes in blue, purple, and black shades and its price starts at 179 USD.

Poco X6 Series: Price & Availability

Poco X6 Pro 5G will be available in the following storage models-

  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 26,999
  • 8GB RAM+512GB storage- Rs. 28,999

The device will come in Black, Racing Grey, and Poco Yellow shades. The prices above include ICICI bank card discounts and exchange bonuses.

Poco X6 5G will be available in the following storage models-

  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 21,999
  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 23,999
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- Rs. 24,999

It will come in Snowstorm white, Blue, and Mirror Black shades. The prices include ICICI Bank card discounts and exchange bonuses.

The first sale will take place via Flipkart on January 16. Pre-orders will begin tonight at 8 PM IST.

Poco X6 Pro 5G: Specs

Poco X6 Pro 5G has marked the global debut of the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.  The smartphone comes with WildBoost 2.0 Optimization, 2.0 Liquid Cool technology, and an AnTuTu score of 1,464,228 points. It runs Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 13.

The smartphone sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and ultra-slim bezels. It has a 1.5k CrystalRes AMOLED display for an immersive viewing experience. The FHD+ panel comes with 1800 nits peak brightness, 68 billion colors, Pro HDR, Adaptive HDR, Dolby Vision, Cycle Mode for eye care, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a dynamic refresh rate, and much more.

In terms of camera, the Poco X6 Pro features a 64MP main camera (OIS+EIS) along with an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Filters include a Film filter and nature filter, while functions include Motion capture.  At the front is a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, it packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging.

It comes with dual speakers supported by Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio, and Hi-Res audio wireless. It also comes with NFC, IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Poco X6 5G: Specs

Poco X6 5G also marks the global debut of Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch 1.5K CrystalRes AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, ultra-slim bezel design, 1800 nits brightness, and 68 billion colors.

At the back is a 64MP triple camera setup with 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensors. Under the hood, it draws juice from a 5100mAh battery with 67W turbo fast charging. The smartphone is 7.98mm thick and weighs 181 grams. Dual speakers offer an immersive audio experience and a 3.5mm audio jack allows listening to music in old old-fashioned way.

It runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 OS out of the box which offers various customizations and personalization.
