Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco is all set to launch the Poco M7 5G smartphone in India on 3rd March. The company claims that it is the first phone in its segment to get 12GB RAM and 50MP camera sensor at the back. Days before the launch, Poco has confirmed various details about the Poco M7 5G. The phone will retail via Flipkart and cost under Rs. 10,000 catering to budget smartphone users.

The Poco M7 5G is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with 6GB physical and 6GB virtual RAM. The phone will have a 128GB storage onboard. The brand has confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be the first in its segment to feature a 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor at the back that will record videos in 1080p at 30fps. At the front will be an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, Poco M7 will draw juice from a 5160mAh battery with 18W charging speed. The adapter inside the box will be a 33W charger, but the smartphone will charge at 18W maximum speed.

Poco has not confirmed the OS of the device, but it is expected to ship with Android 14 and get two years of OS updates and four years of security updates. The Poco M7 5G gets a 6.88-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness. Poco claims that M7 5G will come with eye safety with TUV certifications for a comfortable viewing experience. It also features TUV Low Blue Light reducing blue light exposure to minimize eye strain and sleep disturbances.

Also, TUV Circadian certification adjusts the blue light emission based on the time of day to support a healthy sleep cycle. For durability, Poco M7 will come with IP52 rating against dust and splashes. Poco M7 5G will be available in Satin Black, Mint Green and Ocean Blue colors.
