The biggest sporting extravaganza in the world, the Olympics 2024 is right upon us, and this time the carnival has reached the beautiful city of Paris. The Paris 2024 Olympics will officially kick off on 26th July with a grand opening ceremony and sporting events starting on 27th July. Archery Ranking rounds are an exception as they begin from 25th July. Over 10,000 athletes are participating in the 2024 Olympics representing 206 National Olympic Committees. The 16-day multi-sporting event is even more special this time as it has returned to Paris after 100 years. The event will end on 11th August with a closing ceremony.

Paris Olympics 2024: How, Where & When to Watch in India
The Paris Olympics 2024 will live-stream on OTT Platform Jio Cinema for free. Those who don’t have a Jio Cinema subscription can also watch the Olympics for free.
On TV, the Olympics will be telecasted on Sports 18 Channels as the telecast rights are with Viacom 18 Network.
On 25th July, archery ranking rounds for India begin at 1 PM IST. Since Paris timings are behind Indian timings, most of the events will start at 12 Noon in the country.
Viacom 18 has confirmed that Jio Cinema will feature the biggest India’s Olympics presentation till date. The coverage will have 20 concurrent feeds and a lineup of former Olympians. There will be a dedicated Indian feed, women athletes feed, and global action feed giving fans a chance to watch whatever they want to. All 20 feeds will be concurrent and available for free. The coverage will include 17 sports-centric feeds and three curated feeds, all in 4K quality. There will also be an India-centric stream in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu showcasing all the action of the Indian contingent as it happens.

The list of Sports 18 Channels that will telecast the Olympics are-
- Sports 18-1, Sports 18-1 HD, and Sports 18-2 for India-focused feed.
- Sports 18-3 for global feed.
- Sports 18-1 and Sports 18-1 HD will be broadcast in English. Tamil and Telugu will be available via the language button.
- Sports 18-2 will present Paris 2024 in Hindi.
Paris Olympics 2024: About the Indian Contingent
Indian contingent includes 117 athletes who have qualified for the Olympics 2024. India will have its pavilion called the India House at the 2024 Olympics. India’s first medal event will begin on 27th July with a 10m air rifle event for shooting. Along with 117 athletes, there will be 23 members of support staff traveling to Paris.
At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, India won seven medals. This time India will hope to better that.
