Panasonic T50 Launched With 4.5-inch Display And Quad-core SoC At 4,990 INR

Panasonic India under its ‘T-series’ has launched another low budget smartphone T50 at a price of 4,990 INR. The smartphone is offered in rose gold, champagne gold, and midnight blue colour options and will retail on both online and offline stores.

The Panasonic T50 comes fitted with a 4.5-inch IPS FWVGA display with a running resolution of 480×854 pixels. Under the hood, it features a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset along with 1GB RAM. Panasonic T50 is backed by a 1600mAh battery and offers 8GB of internal storage which can be bumped up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The phone flaunts a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash at the rear side and a 2-merapixel selfie camera on the front. In terms of connectivity options, it includes 3G Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0.

The Panasonic T50 runs its custom Sail UI which is based Android 5.1. It has some very intriguing features like batch arranging to group multiple apps into batches like genre and frequency of use, headers for app management and gesture controls. It also supports Gesture Control to access multiple features and operations directly, such as screen shot by a simple finger swipe.

“Our latest introduction in the Indian market is a novelty because it arrives with the launch of Panasonic’s in-house software, the Sail user interface. The UI is even integrated into a specialised SAIL camera. It is an app-driven smartphone which combines 3G connectivity and multi-app smoothness for a flawless user experience in a handheld device,” Pankaj Rana, business head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India said.
