This year’s event not only enhanced OPPO’s brand perception as a tech company and conveyed the vision of ‘tech for the people’, but also highlighted how its work under the current circumstances is here to embrace the inclusiveness and humanist nature of technology worldwide. OPPO’s Inno Day ‘Leap into the Future’ promised to further explore the depths of personal technology, as it set forth its new brand belief “Technology for Mankind, Kindness for the World”. In lieu of this belief, OPPO, for the first time, unveiled the ‘3+N+X’ technology development strategy, that strongly highlights its determination to create even greater products for consumers all over the world for a more inclusive and connected technology ecosystem.

As technology becomes an inseparable part of our lives, OPPO has grabbed this opportunity to introduce unique technology as a means to bring the best to people. Remember the OPPO N1, a phone with the first 206 degree rotating camera? Even the Find X that was launched in 2018 had an innovative structure which made it the world’s highest screen-to-body ratio phone at the time. With the OPPO X 2021 Rollable Concept Handset, the company showcased its breakthrough technology that will set new yardsticks for measuring display experience in the industry.

It highlighted OPPO’s leading position in flexible display and paved the way for how users will interact with the smartphone display in the future. Built with a rollable OLED display that measures as small as 6.7 inches and as large as 7.4 inches, The OPPO X 2021 Rollable Concept Handset is going to be the latest achievement from OPPO’s constant exploration into mobile phone form factors.

OPPO also unveiled the new OPPO AR Glass 2021 and the OPPO CybeReal AR app, marking its further exploration and deployment in these core technologies. OPPO has already been investing heavily in the software, hardware, and service ends of AR since 2014.

The AR Glass, which marks OPPO’s first foray into the “digital twin” world, boasts ToF, SLAM algorithms, diffractive optical waveguide technology, and support for gesture and voice recognition. Even in the field of 5G, the brand had already leapfrogged to launch 5G-enabled Find X2 Series, and is now steadily moving towards creating a new ecosystem.
