Oppo R-series Phones Could Launch In India On November 30

Oppo had launched R17 series phones in China earlier this year. Now Oppo is planning to bring these smartphones to the Indian market. In a tweet made by Oppo Mobile India, they emphasized on launching an R series phone in India. Going by the industry sources, the new Oppo phone could launch by the end of this month.

Oppo R17 Pro features

The R-series currently has two phones: R17 and R17 Pro. Both the variants are quite different from each other in terms of technical specifications. It is likely that Oppo might be launching the Pro variant in India going by the teaser. The OPPO R17 Pro features a 6.4-inch (1080×2340 pixels) full-HD+ ‘waterdrop’ notch display, resulting in a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone runs on Snapdragon 710 chipset with a RAM of 6GB/8GB and supported by Adreno 616. It comes with a storage of 128GB.

The phone also features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP sensor having f/1.5-2.4 aperture, 20MP sensor having f/2.6 aperture, and lastly, a TOF 3D stereo camera. the variable aperture in the primary camera automatically widens the lens during low light conditions to ensure that more light enters into the lens. There is a 25MP f/2.0 aperture AI Beauty Camera.

This phone also employs an in-display fingerprint sensor along with face unlock. This dual-SIM phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2. It houses two 1850 mAh batteries which take the total battery capacity to 3700 mAh. The phone also supports Oppo’s proprietary 50W SuperVOOC Flash charging which should charge 40% of the battery in 10 minutes.
