Oppo has brought its 3rd gen Reno series phone to India. True to tradition, the phone focusses primarily on design and cameras. It is equipped with 44MP Dual Selfie Snapper, 64MP rear quartet, up to 20x zoom, and a slew of features from the software side.
Amongst other things, you also get Android 10 based Color OS 7, 4025mAh battery coupled with a 30W VOOC charger.
As you may have noticed, the phone is in-and-out different from the one launched in China last year. So there’s a lot to cover here. Let’s right away dive into the details.
Oppo Reno3 Pro Features
The Pro presents a leftie dual punch-hole on the face, which includes a 44MP+2MP couple. It also underpins stuff like the bokeh effect for both stills and videos and an Ultra-Night mode. BTW, that frontier is a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

As is customary these days, you get a quad-camera panel led by a 64MP shooter. Further, there is an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, a 2MP macro lens and finally, a 2MP monochrome lens for portrait shots. Here too, you are endowed with software perks such as ultra-clear 108MP images by oversampling, Nightscape, bokeh videos and snaps, etc. But, the highlight factor would be the max 20x zoom (5x optical) capability.
The Reno3 Pro is engined by a MediaTek Helio P95 SoC. This is roomed with 128GB storage and up to 12GB RAM. You get the Android 10 based ColorOS 7 as the software. Oppo revealed its new software goody called DocVault which as the name indicates lets you safely store all your documents.
The phone is kept alive by a 4025mAh battery that depends on a 30W VOOC fast charger for the refill. Other things you get here are an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, Dolby Atmos sound, NFC, and a USB-C port.
