Oppo has recently launched Oppo K1 for its Chinese market a few weeks ago. That phone was the first phone to house an in-display fingerprint sensor in the budget segment. Now Oppo has launched another device with almost same specifications under a different name. This new phone is being referred to as Oppo R15X. This device also comes with a gradient design and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Oppo R15X Features
This phone also features a similar 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display with a waterdrop notch and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 protected under a 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by the Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset and is supported by Adreno 521 GPU. The only discernible change is that this device is available only in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant, unlike K1 which is available in two variants. The internal storage on R15X is expandable till 256GB with the help of an external memory card.
This phone has a 16MP sensor as the primary camera and a 2MP shooter for depth sensing on the rear. The rear camera setup is supported by an LED flash. On the front, the phone boasts a 25MP shooter for selfies. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 and comes in two colour variants: Nebula Gradient and Ice Extraction. It is powered by a 3600 mAh battery and is sold at a price of 2499 Yuan. It is interesting to note that Oppo has priced this R15X significantly higher than Oppo K1 even though both of them have almost similar specifications.
