  • Under the hood, the K13 Turbo is powered by the Dimensity 8450 (4nm) processor with the Mali-G720 MC7 GPU (we’ve already tested this processor on the Oppo Reno 14 Pro, which costs Rs. 49,999).
  • In comparison, the K13 Turbo Pro features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4nm) SoC (the chipset also powers handsets like the iQOO Neo 10 and the Poco F7 5G).

A few days ago, the Chinese smartphone maker Oppo launched the K13 Turbo lineup in its native market. It consists of the baseline Oppo K13 Turbo and the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro. Equipped with capable chipsets and massive batteries, these handsets belong to the mid-range category; they’re also priced very well.

While the company hasn’t announced its plans to launch the handsets in global markets, renowned tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the K13 Turbo series could arrive in India by “early August.” If true, this could be an interesting development; if the handsets are priced well, they could offer more value than their rivals in the segment.

Oppo K13 Turbo Key Specifications (Chinese)

Both the Oppo K13 Turbo and the K13 Turbo Pro feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED screen that supports a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

In comparison, the K13 Turbo Pro features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4nm) SoC (the chipset also powers handsets like the iQOO Neo 10 and the Poco F7 5G).

Regarding optics, the Oppo K13 series features a 50MP primary camera on the back, paired with a 2MP secondary camera, and a 16MP selfie shooter. Since the company already has numerous camera-centric smartphones on the market, it may not want the K13 Turbo to overlap with them.

Instead, the company will target gamers or power users who require active smartphone cooling solutions to keep their handsets’ temperature under control while gaming for extended durations. Both smartphones feature an inbuilt cooling fan (along with air ducts) and a 7,000 mm² vapor chamber, which increases heat distribution by 20 percent.

With its elaborate heat distribution system, the K13 Turbo series can offer three hours of seamless gaming without any noticeable performance difference. Last but not least, both smartphones boast a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.

Oppo K13 Turbo Price (Expected)

The baseline K13 Turbo (12GB + 256GB) starts at CNY 1,799, equivalent to approximately Rs. 21,600. In India, the phone might cost around Rs. 30,000 or lower.

The K13 Turbo’s base variant (12GB + 256GB) costs CNY 1,999, which is about Rs. 24,000. This particular handset could be priced around Rs. 35,000 or lower in the country. It is worth mentioning here that other handsets with the same processor cost between Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 32,000 in India (for the base variant).
