After months of leaks and rumors, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has revealed the Find N3 Flip, one of India’s most awaited clamshell foldable phones. It features one of the most capable camera systems on a flip-style phone, a competent processor, and an LTPO primary screen. Here’s everything to know about the Oppo Find N3 Flip.

Oppo Find N3 Flip Design

The Oppo Find N3 Flip has a unique design unlike anything we’ve seen on the market. The clamshell foldable has a horizontal Flexion hinge with a gapless design. Oppo also claims the crease is less visible than on other foldable phones.

The stainless steel core used to create the hinge has a 25% increased load-bearing strength. Oppo Find N3 Flip also has a TUV Rheinland Reliable Folding certification, rating the phone to survive 600,000 folds.

When folded, users can use the rectangular cover screen on the front. Besides the screen, there’s the circular camera module, which houses the three camera sensors. Upon unfolding, users get the power button (with an in-built fingerprint scanner), and the volume rockets on the right spine.

On the left spine, users also get an alert slider, which helps users switch between several ringer modes. The smartphone weighs 198 grams and has an IPX4 water resistance.

Oppo Find N3 Flip Specifications

The Oppo Find N3 Flip has a 3.26-inch AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 900 nits. Unfolding the phone reveals the 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, which supports a 120Hz variable refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It supports 1,600 nits of peak brightness and has an HDR10+ certification.

Under the hood, the foldable runs on MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, based on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication technology. It’s an octa-core processor with one core clocked at 3.05GHz, three at 2.85GHz and four at 1.8GHz. The CPU is paired with a G-715 MC11 graphics processor, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. Out of the box, the smartphone will run on ColorOS 13.2, based on Android 13.

Users Get A Triple Rear Cameras With 2x Telephoto

It is important to mention that the Oppo Find N3 Flip has the most versatile camera hardware on a flip-style clamshell phone. The rear panel of the foldable houses a triple camera setup (with Hasselblad branding), led by a 50MP (f/1.8, 26mm) Sony IMX890 main sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX581 (f/2.2, 14mm) ultrawide sensor, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 (f/2.0, 47mm) telephoto lens for two times optical zoom. Although all sensors can record videos in 4K, the maximum frame rate isn’t clear at the moment. Users get a 32MP (f/2.4, 21mm) sensor for clicking selfies.

Regarding battery life, users get a 4,300 mAh battery on the foldable, which supports 44W SUPERVOOC wired charging and should provide an average screen-on time of about five to seven hours. Other features of the smartphone include dual speakers (with Dolby Atmos), dual-SIM, NFC, Bluetooth v5.3, and support for the fastest wireless network on a smartphone, i.e., Wi-Fi 7.

Oppo Find N3 Flip Price

The Oppo Find N3 Flip will be available from Rs. 94,999 (12GB + 256GB) from October 22, 6 PM IST, through Oppo Store, Flipkart, and other retailers. It will be available in two colors: Cream Gold and Sleek Black. Pre-orders for the smartphone begin today. Stay tuned for a detailed review of the smartphone soon.
